about Café Oto

Café Oto is a venue based in Dalston, London presenting the most innovative artists working today with a particular focus on new music. Café Oto (meaning noise/sound/music in Japanese) comprises one large licensed café/performance space open during the day serving food and drink with an evening programme of live music, films, talks and discussions.

Café Oto is tucked away on a little side street just at the main junction in Dalston, between Stoke Newington Street and Dalston Lane, nearly opposite Dalston Kingsland Overground Station (a hop away from Highbury & Islington on the Victoria Line). 149 or 242 buses run regularly up from Liverpool Street. 30, 38, N38, 67, 76, 56, & 277 buses also stop nearby. And there are bicycle racks.
